This gives you an address you can use with Companies House and for the official correspondence that comes with it.
No. Sole traders can use a Virtual Office address on quotes, invoices and other business communications without needing the Registered Office Address add-on. That’s only relevant if you want to register your virtual office with Companies House.
Yes. Your virtual office address doesn’t limit where you can work, so you can still take on customers in your local area even if your business address is in another city. If you use Google Business Profile, trade directories or other platforms, they may have their own address and service-area rules, so it’s worth checking those separately.
When post arrives, you can manage it through your Portal and request scans so you can access it wherever you’re working. Your subscription includes 10 free mail scans each month, with additional scans available when you need them. Companies House and HMRC post requires the appropriate Registered Office Address service.
